Terry Ruth Eissfeldt

International Impact Book Awards Distinguished Author, Terry Ruth Eissfeldt, writes Tween Equestrian Lit. The first two books in her current series, The Animal Justice Club, have both won International Impact Book Awards. 

 

Terry Ruth is a lifelong animal liver and was born with an incurable disease known as ‘horse fever’. She pursued certification as a riding instructor rather than university much to her parent’s disbelief. 

 

She taught horseback riding for many years in summer camps, private lesson programs, therapeutic riding programs, and through Pony Club. 

 

After raising four children and spending thirty years on North Vancouver Island, she now lives near Edmonton, Alberta with her husband, dogs and horses.​
